Weight, balance, and where it has moved to by landing BALANCE
An aircraft inside its weight and outside its centre of gravity is not slightly wrong. It is one that will not rotate, or will not recover.
The aircraft
No units are converted anywhere on this page. Work in whatever the manual uses: the arithmetic is identical, and a conversion quietly applied is its own accident.
What is on board
Mark the tanks as fuel and they are the only thing that comes off between takeoff and landing.
The envelope, from your flight manual
A few points, as the manual draws them. Between them the limits are interpolated straight, which is how the chart is meant to be read; outside them the nearest point is used rather than a line the manual never drew.
Where it sits
Three conditions, not one

How it works
BALANCE is a weight and balance check for a light aircraft. Enter the empty weight and arm from your own aircraft's documents, then the people, baggage and fuel at each station, and it works out the total weight and centre of gravity at take-off, at landing and with the fuel gone, because the centre of gravity moves as fuel burns. It does not include any aircraft's envelope and it is not a load sheet: your flight manual is the authority. Nothing leaves this tab.
