Plan it, take the notes, print the record INTERVIEW
The questions are the structure, the notes hang off them, each note carries elapsed time from a clock you start, and a contradiction is a link you make between two answers.
1. The plan
Written before the interview. The purpose is the sentence you would give if asked why the meeting was held.
Who is present
2. The questions
No questions yet.
A template is a starting point, not a script. Cut what does not apply and add what does.
Add a question
3. During the interview
Start the clock when the recording starts. Every stamped note carries elapsed time from that moment.
4. Documents referred to
Anything put in front of the person, or mentioned by them. The time comes from the clock.
5. Actions arising
An action without an owner and a date is a wish. Both fields are here for that reason.
6. Inconsistencies
Every note you tagged inconsistent, with a box to say which other answer it conflicts with.
7. The record
A printable record to be read back, corrected and signed, and a JSON that can be loaded again here.
How it works
INTERVIEW is for planning an interview, taking notes during it and printing the record afterwards. Write the questions first, marked as open, closed or follow-up. During the interview, notes hang off each question with the time elapsed since you started the clock, and you can link a statement to one that contradicts it. It does not record audio. Notes are saved in this browser as you go, so closing the tab does not lose them.
