What counts as different
A pixel counts as different when one of its three channels moves by more than this, out of 255.
Four ways to look
What is different
Waiting for two images.
Channel by channel
The last two columns say which way each channel moved, from the first image to the second.
How it works
Use it to check a design against a screenshot, spot an edited photo, or find what changed between two versions. Two JPEGs that look identical can differ in thousands of pixels because JPEG is lossy, so it explains what a difference means.
Doing this often? OBSCURA Photo Editor stacks the two pictures as layers, to align, mask and compare them by hand. On its own, US$4 a month; with everything else, US$9 a month or US$79 a year. 7 days free.
