See and strip the metadata in video and audio AVSCRUB
Walk a video or audio file, see every metadata field and where in the file it lives, then write a new copy without them.
1. The file
MP4, M4A and MOV; MP3; WAV; FLAC; Ogg. Nothing is uploaded, and the copy on your disk is never written to.
No file open yet.
2. What is in it
3. The structure
The boxes, chunks, blocks or pages the file is made of, with the byte each starts at and how long it is.
4. Take it out
A new file is built in this tab with the metadata gone, then read back with the same parser before you are offered it.
Nothing has been changed yet.
5. Before and after
Every entry found in the original, and whether it is still there in the new file.

How it works
Videos and audio files carry metadata too: the phone model, the recording date and, on many phone videos, the GPS location. AVSCRUB shows every metadata field in a video or audio file and where in the file it sits, then writes a new copy without them, including timed location tracks. The cleaned file still plays. It says plainly when a file is in a format it cannot rewrite.
